Recently, Clifford "Buzz" Grambo decided to upgrade his electric scooter. The old one he had purchased online only reached 16 mph and wasn't cutting it anymore. He needed to go faster to keep up with the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement cars he chases around Baltimore. So, Grambo bought a Segway MAX G3, which features a 2,000-watt motor and can get up to 28 mph. "The first time I caught up to them, I could tell that they already knew who I was," he told me when we first spoke on the phone in late October. "They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ha-ha bitches, I got a new scooter!"

Does anyone know how to remove Quips from Patreon's home feed? It feels like I'm suddenly getting a bunch of advertisements for creators I don't know and don't care about, which especially sucks on a platform I'm paying to access. So far I've just been blocking every creator who shows up in my feed🙃

Thinking about this in particular re: @drawfeeshow.com raising over $175K since Saturday from their Pride charity stream, despite having less than 2M subscribers. I've seen so many bigger creators raise far less in their charity streams.

Such a good point. Smaller audiences often achieve more together than big ones. I've often found that in times where nerdfighteria is smaller, it is paradoxically more powerful because it's also tight-knit and committed to shared values.

There was a period of time at my last job where Everything Was Fucked for a while and I definitely watched a whole season of "Nailed It!" on my tablet in my office.
