I make magazines and publish stuff (for real, on paper) and love to create all kinds of things using many different mediums. The cat distribution center visited three times in one year so you’ll see lots of cat pics from me.
Haven’t been here in a while. Needed to get off toxic fb after getting a bit’o’hate for saying I wouldn’t be wasting any prayers on CK but didn’t condone violence or celebrate what happened. I’m just angry at the selective outrage. Angry at the blame and division. Angry we haven’t impeached him yet.

It is completely obvious that if Trump was alive in July 4, 1776 he would have been a loyalist backing King George III while searching for every possible way to avoid serving in the war.

If the goal were to help people rise out of poverty, we’d expand child care, job training, and healthcare access instead of cutting it off. Telling people, “If you’re poor, prove your worth constantly, or you don’t get help,” is cruel and demoralizing.

Maddow: 88% of the country says no, no, he cannot defy a supreme court ruling. Only 9% say yes he can. And you know, it's not the same thing. But I should mention that 9% is also the proportion of Americans who told yougov this week that they have a favorable view of the black plague

Microplastics don’t just shed off of plastic items from overuse, like when a water bottle breaks down over weeks or months of being washed and refilled.

They also leach into our food and drinks with even the brief use of a product with plastic components, alarming scientists.
It doesn't take much for microplastics to leach into food, researchers warn
Scientists have found plastic fragments can shed off cutting boards, takeout containers and even laminated paper cups with each use.

Note to editors and producers: If an executive order demands action that is illegal or outside of the president’s authority, then you should not describe it as ordering something. You should say it seeks to achieve some outcome and then note it is illegal or beyond the power of the president.

There is literally no reason or explanation one can give for this that is not pure unadulterated evil. There is no bottom to this level of ghoulishness. It is nothing but cruelty and anyone with a soul knows it is wrong to do.

Trump’s Deportations Rely on Tattoos—It’s Bullshit.
It turns out tattoos inspired by a reggaeton artist who endorsed Trump are also a marker of gang involvement.

The president is asserting an unreviewable power to seize any person off the street and ship him to a dungeon abroad. Nobody can say this is an overreaction or alarmism or "TDS" when this is literally what the administration is doing right now.
The Constitutional Crisis Is Here
By shipping men to a Salvadoran prison without due process, the Trump administration has begun defying court orders in earnest.

Another way of saying this is that Trump’s claims are so extreme that even judges appointed by Republicans agree

As we show in a forthcoming JOP paper, this is an important signal to higher courts about the undelying merits of the claims
1/🧵 Judges across ideological lines are ruling against Trump at strikingly similar rates (84% liberal, 86% centrist, 82% conservative). This isn't partisan opposition to Trump—it's the judiciary functioning as intended by cutting across partisan lines to uphold the Constitution.
