SNAP will run out of money in two weeks. As a former food stamp recipient, I know how hungry you get by the end of the month. This is cruel and unnecessary, and anyone who supports this should be voted out. #hunger #SNAP www.boston.com/community/lo...

Poilievre is somehow standing in a parliament building that he wasn’t elected to, calling out and casting aspersions on members of parliament who *were elected.* Dude. You lost your seat. These new ministers won their seats. Sit down (on the floor, as you have no seat).

Carney is going to prove a MUCH harder attack target for Pierre Poilievre.

Trudeau's greatest flaw was his rigid stance in staying on script. He'd almost never attack back.

Carney will attack back. And he'll do it so intelligently that Pierre won't even know it's happening.

Stop Bill 5 - Environmental Defence

The Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) recently released a new analysis of a proposed national guaranteed basic income program for working-age Canadians, which found it is possible to halve previously projected costs while maintaining or even increasing its poverty-reduction impact.
How to build a well-designed national basic income program – at half the cost
A new PBO report shows Canada could halve basic income costs using the economic family model while reducing poverty significantly.

⚠️ CANADIAN MEDICAL DATA PRIVACY ALARM ⚠️

Millions of Canadians' medical records are being sold to pharmaceutical companies—often without patient knowledge or consent.

Researchers found private clinics are converting sensitive health data into "commercial assets."

Great to meet with Will and Rvaha from OMSA to talk about the future of family medicine in Ontario. We need to do much more to ensure that everyone has access to a primary care physician. I’ll keep fighting to make sure the Ford govt makes this a priority.

While delighted that PM Carney won, I’m deeply worried about Canada’s political future because the Conservatives won so many seats by using hate filled misinformation while touting an antidemocratic, anti choice, anti equality agenda.

This wasn’t a total win - the seeds of this will haunt us.
