Interested in the intersection of politics and media. Vengeance Democrat. GenX. Mostly learning and hitting that like button. I block a lot. No time to argue with misinformed attention-seekers, grifters, or their white knights
Also blocked. I suspect they subscribed to some list because like you say, that account does seem like an ally.

I agree. I also find it revealing that Greg only posts screenshots of small portions of the articles he pulled them from. Posting only the words that support his pov. Here's the full article his first screenshot is from. Says more than "democrats' unity crumbled"
6 takeaways from the Senate deal to end the shutdown
The shutdown is not over yet. Sunday’s 60-40 vote cleared the way for the Senate to formally debate the spending measure before a final vote.

Every variation of what Democrats do here doesn’t matter in the sense that it is the Republicans’ fault in every way, politically on Republicans, pr-wise on them, the House CR expires in less than 2 weeks anyway, & Johnson would have to swear in Grijalva because the House would need to show up.

The ONLY way this "deal" (taken with several grains of salt) ends the shutdown is if it's identical to the house version.
The alleged "cave" by the GOP staff regurgitators at Axios is nowhere close to the house bill.
Which means it forces Johnson to convene the house to vote on it.

Sure seems that way. I got blocked for simply pointing out that the Axios article claim is not well sourced.

Talk about hysterical and helpless👇 FFS these people just instantly panic. Can't even use their concern to motivate their huge audience to do something constructive like calling their reps. It literally must be "somebody" else. To stop "them" (Dems)

If it turns out to be true, believe it. If it's just a rumor, don't believe it. There's no need to assume the worst and then start trashing Dems for something they haven't yet done. That's my only point here. Believe info that is accurately sourced.

You should believe things that are true and accurate. Not because the general sentiment aligns with your biases. Check sources and demand better of the people informing you.

Right wing information game matched with social media algorithm control has been devastating to Democrats. Nothing has to be true. Everything gets framed to benefit republicans.
