Dr. Petter Brodin is leading a project investigating the genetic determinants of Long Covid. “We’re currently looking for genetic variants that could explain why [Long Covid patients] have what we think is impaired antiviral immunity, leading to viral persistence.”

37 years ago, but could be in today's newspaper. We still know very little about post-viral syndromes. #COVID just made the number of cases explode, but they always existed. #MECFS #ME

3 years ago, I was banging my head against the wall for months, trying to discover which type of immune cells were entering the brain after #COVID infection. Now we can all say together: neutrophils! And all starts in the nose and how mammalian airways evolved. Check out

Can we stop ignoring the science?

-People who get #COVID while pregnant have increased risk of pre-eclampsia.
- There is no evidence of increase in adverse neonatal events in babies born to vaccinated moms.
-Maternal immune activation caused by COVID can PROFOUNDLY impact fetal brain development.

This👇👇. As someone with ME/CFS I can tell you, you don’t want this. Do not exercise, do not try to be a hero. Rest, rest, rest, listen to your body. It’s 6 weeks of rest vs end of life as you knew it.
I will keep repeating it: Don't exercise if you have been recovering from #COVID for at least 6 weeks (probably more). Don't prescribe exercises for patients recovering from viral infections. And listen to Todd below (and the nurse in the video). Both are leading experts in chronic illness.
