It is amazing that people buy the idea that adding a for-profit industry (insurance companies) to the health care system will make things more efficient and cheaper. We pay the most for health care and still get shafted. Health care, education, and infrastructure should never be for profit.

I vaguely remember a list that only had one obvious and the rest thrown in. A few were actually good accounts. I think people will just have to vet it. The irony is without that list I wouldn’t have seen the good accounts.

People really don't understand how much blood and violence are behind things like "the weekend" and "clocking out at 5". I had to specifically take labor history courses *in college* to get exposed to it.

All this energy and what we need is excessive reporting on how it’s bad for democracy for billionaires and oligarchs to own tech companies and how that also ends up generating a social media experience that a lot of people don’t like that much
