Musings of a basic white girl posting into the void for the first time. Hi Bluesky, thanks for having me! 🫶🏻
Not Buckets AND Podz 😭
Rough updates for the Warriors, who will not have Jimmy Butler the rest of the night, and probably not Podziemski either.

you know what's funny is that as it becomes more normal to not instantly answer every text, if it takes a day or two for someone to answer, that's just like, how fast letters are. we have cycled back to paper mail cadence

A former French military base, Vauban is a thriving neighbourhood of 5,500 residents connected to Freiburg town centre by bus and light rail. Built in the late 1990s as a radical experiment in low-car living, it forgoes virtually all on-street parking in favour of active, green, and social spaces. 🧵

Here’s a Sunday morning reflection. The world is so big, beautiful, and expansive beyond the confines of white evangelical Christianity.

I love the Beatles because when I left the cultural bubble of Christianity, they were the first band I “discovered”.

I wish we could be a country that funds & builds transportation infrastructure for everyone, not just people in cars.

Forcing car dependency on most Americans was a bad choice.

I just found out that Kansas City used to have an extensive streetcar system that shut down in the 1950s to make way for cars and buses.

What could have been. 🤦🏻‍♀️

All I want is to live in a walkable city with good public transit and plenty of green spaces.

Kansas City is proud to have thousands of outstanding federal workers here. We’d be honored if you considered staying in public service if you’ve experienced a recent, sudden separation. Check opportunities at CivicMatch.org.

Thank you for your service to our country.
