You may be fearing your 401k is no longer enough for you to retire. But with all the cuts to NIH and Medicare you also won't live as long. So the policies are integrated.

This Republican congressman says he prefers virtual town halls because “Democrat” activists are “disrupting” in-person events—even though he hasn’t actually had one.

Rep Hudson, this is a bullshit excuse. Your constituents are your constituents, no matter their party. Your job is to listen to them.

Hesgeth's nomination and likely confirmation are acts of spectacular disrespect to the people serving in our Armed Forces. Regardless of your feelings about Military policy or the Military as a whole, those people voluntarily defend us. It's just plain wrong to put their lives in such hands.
i am watching clips from the hegseth hearings and it is a goddamn insult
to this country that this chucklefuck was even nominated

Old enough to remember the campaign, when during each speech Trump said Jimmy Carter was happy (despite being in hospice care) because thanks to Biden he was no longer the worst US president. Saying he's paying "respects" is a stretch.

When Kamala lost, she conceded graciously and then got back work as our VP.

When Trump lost, he wouldn’t concede and then incited a deadly attack on our Capitol.
