Congressman @beyer.house.gov will be going to USAID today with colleagues to shine a light on what is happening there, I think others will join us. Figuring out details now and will share but flagging now for press and public in the area

The attacks on USAID are so telling about the whole blinkered worldview of this admin of goons. The cost to the US is minuscle, the benefits to recepients massive, the capacity to manage crisis abroad sustained, and they're happy to destroy it because they cannot concieve of anyone else as human.

The 2026 ELECTION has already started!
Taking over the House and Senate is the only way to stop Trump's craziness.
Please start organizing now, and publicize every Trump failure.

Fox News reacts to stories like an immune system attacking a threat—whatever they hit hardest is what they fear most. A bishop preaching kindness and pleading with Trump? Immediate outrage. Elon Musk's salute? Full defense mode. Says it all.

Trump established an email to rat on federal workers who continue to advance equal opportunity. DEIAtruth@opm.gov. Sure would be a shame if folks misused this email address and flooded it with irrelevant things…
Trump just announced he’s ending 60 years of protections against discrimination by fed contractors and ending requirements for them to ensure equal opportunity to these good jobs. Under Trump’s theory we ended racism so now the federal gov can fund discrimination

We are contending with a GOP that knows how to win the most important factor that shapes perception: attention.

Understanding this is step one. Step two is actually changing it. Dems need a whole new strategy.

Fighting the attention war is a key part of my platform.

As always, Rep. Jamie Raskin is right:

The felon’s administration is the ultimate example of pay-to-play politics. Billionaires are now cashing in on their investment, while the American people are left to suffer the consequences.

The People’s March is moving through the streets of Washington: “We won’t go back!”

A broad coalition of activists — among them climate, women’s rights, immigration, anti-war, LGBT, D.C. statehood, racial justice — are mobilizing in unison against Trump, three days before his inauguration. 🧵

Note that GOP lawmakers are, once again, contemplating ways to gut the ACA in order to pay for their tax cuts.

Among the items on the chopping block: repeal of Obamacare marketplace subsidies; cut federal funding for Medicaid expansion.

Organizing is how we defeated Trump’s attacks on the ACA when I was at @moveon.org.

Organizing is how we beat back the GOP and unrigged our state with @wisdems.bsky.social.

Let’s put an organizer in charge of the DNC—and organize our way to a country that works for working people.

The sad reality is, the overwhelming majority of Americans don't know there's a voter for the Speaker going on, don't care & won't be able to name him after the vote. This is what happens in a country where civics education is no longer universal. Its absence lets darkness settle in over democracy.

The correct title for this article is "Donald Trump will ALLOW Mike Johnson to Remain As Speaker...For Now." Also, it's important to note that the Executive and Legislative Branches were intended to be separate and independent, but that was the good old days.
