I'd like clarify this one. Actually, this partnership does have an influence on Woodside's behaviour. It emboldens them. It makes them part of society and facilitates their continued pollution.

The head of the Western Australian Museum has told staff that burning fossil fuels is something “almost all of us are guilty of in one way or another” in an email defending the institution’s renewed research partnership with Woodside.
The museum’s chief executive, Alec Coles, sent the email to staff before a Woodside-sponsored August open day at the Maritime Museum – one of WA Museum’s seven locations. Santos is a disgraceful company. No event should want to be associated with algal blooms, leaking LNG tanks and carbon dioxide production with some LNG as a byproduct.
My family is extremely lucky to travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia every year for a beach holiday.
We often combine our holiday with a little protesting against the (Santos) Tour Down Under.

Santos is a disgraceful company. No event should want to be associated with algal blooms, leaking LNG tanks and carbon dioxide production with some LNG as a byproduct.
