- Don't scare people TOO much
- Focus on solutions
- Characters have agency
- Include local issues people can tackle personally
- Hopeful ending IS A MUST

I've used the @australiainstitute.org.au's report on Fossil Fuelled Universities to update the Chumps list.

Fossil fuel companies influence unis through research grants, scholarships, sponsorship. The info is spread out so the report was very useful.

Government messaging on the 62-to-70% emissions reduction target is already emphasising how it is "responsible", "sensible" and "practical" days after its National Climate Risk Assessment found 1.5m Australians will have water lapping at their door from sea level rise in 2050.

The partnership is due for renewal but Monash should break free.

I'd like clarify this one. Actually, this partnership does have an influence on Woodside's behaviour. It emboldens them. It makes them part of society and facilitates their continued pollution.

No you don't. You have no influence on their behaviour. Your researchers tell them the marine environment is precious and they wreck it anyway.

Santos is a disgraceful company. No event should want to be associated with algal blooms, leaking LNG tanks and carbon dioxide production with some LNG as a byproduct.
My family is extremely lucky to travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia every year for a beach holiday.

We often combine our holiday with a little protesting against the (Santos) Tour Down Under.

Love the race, hate the sponsor.
