Trump is touting the no tax on tips provision in his budget bill.

But many tipped workers won't benefit because their earnings are so low. And the provision expires in 2028.

The estate tax cuts that primarily benefit the rich? Those were made permanent.

Funny how that works.

Congress abdicated its role as a separate and independent branch of government on January 20 while also relinquishing all oversight responsibility, so it’s entirely appropriate for Johnson to show that he has surrendered his gavel to the executive.

This is a really important point. Most Medicaid recipients likely have NO idea that they’re about to lose their coverage.

All to give themselves a tax cut. We're witnessing the larger transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in American history. Courtesy of the "party of the working class" in the GOP.

Trump’s exact quote to Fox today on this: “We’re doing coal. I don’t want windmills destroying our place. I don’t want these solar things where they go for miles and they cover up half a mountain and are ugly as hell.”

Such a good point on SCOTUS hypocrisy when it comes to Trump vs Biden:

They let a nationwide injunction kill Biden’s student loan relief when they had a chance to rule on it.

5 months into Trump’s presidency, suddenly nationwide injunctions are a grave threat to executive power and they must rule.

The JCPOA was one of the greatest diplomatic achievements of the 21st century. Multiple nations, several powerful blocks, a ton of oversight and the entire time diplomats were working it out domestic American media & politicians were demonizing it, lying about it, and trying to sabotage it. They won
Reminder that none of this would've been possible if not for the neocons manipulating Trump's hatred of Obama to kill the JCPOA. From there, safeguards became unconstrained enrichment and all the scary things they're trotting out became possible.

Be careful buying what these guys are still selling.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

The Senate GOP budget bill would impose a sweeping nationwide abortion ban by blocking Affordable Care Act insurers from covering abortion care in all 50 states. This extreme measure would override state protections & strip millions of women of their right to comprehensive reproductive health care.

The correct way to connect the authoritarian presence in LA and the Big Beautiful Bill is that the bill gives the government the resources to do this in dozens of cities at once. So if you don't like what's happening in LA, it's coming to your town if the bill passes.

Republicans snuck a line into their "big beautiful bill” that could CLOSE nearly 200 Planned Parenthood locations.

And guess what? 90% of those centers would be in states where abortion is LEGAL.

It’s one step closer to banning abortion nationwide.

The average Republican in Congress is a millionaire, funded by billionaires.

25% of American households have a net worth less than $27k.

Just in case you were surprised that their budget attacks the working class to give more handouts to rich people like them.
