We have too many boomers and not enough young workers to fund their retirements. National thinks its new KiwiSaver policy could be the answer....

In a race to stand for nothing, we are increasingly heading for first place.
BREAKING: Winston Peters says is NZ is "not ready" to recognise Palestinian statehood.

"We do not think the time is now."

He says recognition at this time would be "open for political manipulation by both Hamas and Israel".

This gummint keeps confirming its position as a useless spineless git. Now to wait for the 'we need more evidence and time' spin for its decision not to recognise 🇵🇸 as a state. Absolute wankers. #nzpol

Kia kaha Black Ferns. You did us all proud. Good game but credit where credit is due, the Canadians were just outstanding today. It wasn’t that we played bad, more that 🇨🇦 was much better on the field. Man that was a bloody good game to watch. I know who I’m supporting in the finals. #wrwc2025

My running mate @jonturnernz.bsky.social doing a great job of pointing out the hypocrisy and that there is an oversupply of carparking in the area around the Dominion Road one atm. You cannot say you truly support public transport and vote against measures to improve it.

Albert-Eden voters...actually all Tāmaki Makaurau local election voters, vote C&R out of existence...they are why we have not AND cannot have nice things...

#nzpol
I'm at Puketāpapa Local Board and C&R are voting against decreasing congestion by expanding T3 and bus lanes. Claiming that a small loss of on street carparking for a few businesses is more important that travel time improvements of 3 minutes plus per bus passenger. C&R did same at Albert-Eden.
