237 people took action in 10 cities across the UK. Police made arrests at all 9 actions in England & Wales. Police Scotland did not arrest anyone holding the same signs.

Forces in Aberystwyth, Truro, Oxford & Gloucester exhausted their capacity for arrests, leaving people to continue protesting.
90 were arrested in the Peace Garden at London’s Tavistock Square yesterday. 5 were arrested in Hastings. Meanwhile, no arrests were made in NI as 45 signs were held across actions in Belfast & Derry.

The inconsistency of UK policing exposes how absurd & unenforceable this ban is.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

#Burnham faces several hurdles to be able to run. If things move quickly, he may not be able to return to parliament in time, to be a candidate.

This might give #Starmer and his team hope. If there is no obvious candidate that can beat him, he will feel much more secure in place.

When it comes to the festering wound in what was once historic #Palestine, the job of western journalists is to obfuscate, equivocate, distort and excuse.

And it always has been.

-Starmer's satisfaction rating at -66
-50% of the public want "radical change" yet only 4% believe Labour will deliver it.

A selling point of Labour and a part of their growth plan, was 5 years of stability so people could plan long term investments. But even without the leadership stuff there's been so much speculation and change of direction around the budgets that people still can't confidently plan ahead.

It is clear to all that the Starmer government is more than willing to sacrifice the rights and protections of marginalised groups, such as refugees, in order to satisfy pressure from rabid forces on the far-right of British politics.
