The proposed resolutions call for laws on gender, marriage and family based on what they say is the biblically stated order of divine creation. They also call for legislators to curtail sports betting and to support policies that promote childbearing.

In 1956, a decade before Stonewall, 87 people were arrested for being “lewd and dissolute” at a popular gay bar in Pacifica, California. The ACLU defended them in court.

How is this not an attempt to return to the state-sanctioned anti-LGBTQ+ efforts represented by the campaign against Gay teachers in the 1970's?

In addition to material from Herland, work is also proceeding on archival material collected from sources in Arkansas and Texas, as well as Oklahoma.
The product of ten years of work, this material is being made available through the online resources of UCO's Chambers Library and the Oklahoma County Metropolitan Library System. The project is also supported by the Oklahoma Historical Society.
