Seems only right to me, given the clamour over getting Angele Rayner out.

I expect that the media will be all over this any time now

Green Party leader calls for Farage to quit over tax affairs
Zack Polanski said it was 'rank hypocrisy' for Nigel Farage to call for Angela Rayner's resignation and not to do so himself

Funnily enough I don't remember reading similar front pages when Jeremy Hunt bought *seven* luxury seaside apartments from a Conservative donor, in breach of his government's own money laundering rules

God, the number of people who were willing to believe that the South Yorkshire police were too woke to prosecute sexual abuse cases, when in fact the police force was itself an instrument of patriarchal sexual violence. It’s like a case study in the worst excesses of the British press.

Great news: the High Court has granted permission for a full judicial review of the government's order proscribing Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act.
Let's hope he government's idiotic and draconian order is overturned.

Killing children. Starvation as a weapon of war. Targeting aid workers. These are all RED LINES. Many more have been crossed by Israel.

As the UK gvmt breaks for summer, we demand it takes action to end its complicity in these atrocities in #Gaza bit.ly/RedLine__Mosaic

We are doing this. Our governments. Our taxes. Our arms sales.

This is our Holocaust. Our Cambodian killing fields. Our Balkans. Our Rwandan genocide.

We are doing this and history will never forgive us.

No one can ever be accused of ‘wasting police time’ again. I’ve just watched a video of police arresting a 75 year old ex teacher for peacefully protesting against genocide.

George Orwell would be proud.

Didn’t have Labour being more authoritarian than Braverman on my bingo card.

Absolutely disgusting. Not what I voted for 🥀
They've managed to criminalise legitimate protest and undermine anti-terror laws in one move. They should be goddamned ashamed of themselves.

It is also reprehensible for the manner in which it has diluted the seriousness of terrorism, as a concept and a legal designation. If you want to pursue Palestine Action for criminal damage then go right ahead. But they are not terrorists under any normal definition of the word.

Difficult to conceive of a more ill-judged decision then the one the Home Office took here. It is an affront to free speech of a kind which is really indistinguishable from what you'd see in a police state.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.
