I'm glad this touched on something I really enjoy, and don't see much of: the 'separate short stories, same universe' collection. This allows, for me, a real sense of a universe, and a theme, that goes beyond individual stories, linked by these threads; some minor, some major.

if 1-2% of the population is telling you we will not vote for a presidential candidate with anti trans policies, then that population ought to be catered to.
