my criticism is that there aren’t ENOUGH talking frog dudes in fantasy games. let me have a frog bro 😤🐸
So much of game criticism right now is about some level of realism or coherence within a fantasy world when none of that matters. You used to play Chrono Trigger and you’d run into a talking frog and it wouldn’t be a thing, he’d just be a frog who talked in Medieval English. You’d go ok and have fun
