ATTN: This is most important court hearing to watch next week. The GOP does not want this case in federal court because they know a federal judge is not likely to toss out 60,000 lawful votes. Their plan is to have the partisan NC state Supreme Court decide. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

FBI officials found over 150 homemade pipe bombs at the home of a Virginia man, Kenneth Spafford, who used pictures of President Biden for target practice. Prosecutors called it “the largest seizure” of explosives in the agency’s history. He was arrested on Dec. 17, following a tip from a neighbor.

“Why don’t you stick to acting?” It’s a taunt I often have hurled at me.

I am a gay man in America whose marriage is under threat.

The last time Trump was in office, hate crimes against AAPIs skyrocketed.

I care deeply about this country and the future of our democracy.

I’ll stick to activism.

Nancy Mace lied about being assaulted.

Nancy Mace lied about someone being arrested for threatening to rape her. It took me a couple of calls to dispute that as arrests are public records. Now she's saying she was attacked 🙄

in order to get a 22 yo on the front of a magazine next to copy that says “she’s 13,” a lot of people in the highest roles of that magazine have to agree they’re good with straight up lying to readers.
@jessesingal.com 's first anti-trans piece in The Atlantic had a photo of a trans 22 year old for a child-transition piece that forced him to come out to his family and friends. Shrier-esque in infantilizing adult transmascs as kids/ daughters with no agency

The Atlantic tried to artistically show gender dysphoria on its cover. Instead it damaged the trust of transgender readers. - Poynter
A 2018 Atlantic cover story about families with transgender teenagers misgendered its cover model and crossed ethical boundaries in the process.

There's a reason this crime received the response that it did. Right or wrong, Americans have no time or room for empathy to those who lack it themselves. And as we have seen, the Healthcare CEO responses isn't to be better but to hire protection so they can continue to fuck people over.
"The visceral response from people across this country who feel cheated, ripped off, and threatened by the vile practices of their insurance companies should be a warning to everyone in the health care system," Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) told HuffPost in an interview on Tuesday.
