Imagine how different our world would be if people defined their legacy as planting seeds they will never see the growth from. If everyone tried to plant the best seeds they possibly could w/o worrying abt receiving material wealth immediately, the world would be so much more healthy in all respects

Maya Deren (May 12 1917 – October 13, 1961) was a Ukrainian-born (then part of the Russian Empire, now independent Ukraine) American experimental filmmaker and important part of the avant-garde in the 1940s and 1950s.
