After letting Steam notify wishlisters about my demo, deletions have increased. Most were from a year ago. I guess they don't like the direction the game took 🤷‍♂️

If anyone is curious, I'm currently using this asset for the music balls. It was already designed to be played in different orders. Maybe a placeholder or permanent. We'll see.

The song at the end of the demo is my own God forsaken creation. There will be more 👀

If you didn't receive an invitation for Animal Fest you can appeal in Steamworks. Mine was overlooked, but I just explained there were no appropriate animal tags to choose from.

Whelm won't have achievements(or a HUD for that matter). You can blame modern software and websites with their incessant popups. I have been radicalised.

Did anyone finish the demo? Some surprisingly long play times here. It only takes about 5 minutes to reach the end if you know what to do.

Fixed a few bugs with the barrels and catapult. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Pretty awesome how fast Steam let's us update a build though.

Don't worry my game has none of those elements. It's completely soulless.
Man, I always feel so guilty when I play a demo for a souls-like and my main thought is "I wish this wasn't a souls-like"

More devs should take the route of being loosely souls-inspired instead of trying to tick every box they think a souls-like needs to have.

Remember to check colours on common screens. My main monitor has decent colour accuracy. The same build on a dirt cheap laptop makes the grass much more yellow. No software colour filters on either PC.
