A recent @jama.com article states Long COVID is the "most common chronic health problem in children," affecting the 10-20% with past infection

They've asked us to accept this as normal

Une infection à la covid peut être extrêmement grave pour un poupon. Il est donc tout à fait logique que tous les professionnels de la santé qui s’occupent des poupons et de leurs proches portent un masque pour les protéger.

Better a fix than a coyote or, even worse, a pack. In Toronto there are now coyote warnings everywhere including the cemetery where my mother is buried: notices posted by city authorities and shared orally by dog owners on walks and, occasionally, reports of attacks and even deaths of beloved pets.
Good morning. I made a visit to the cemetery yesterday photographing rhododendron. I turned & to my surprise found I was being watched. My fox!

A President who attacks and threatens his critics is not fit to lead a democracy. This use of State-backed intimidation to silence opponents is right out of the #authoritarian playbook. All the US has proven is that a sick democracy can elect a sick authoritarian.

It's one thing to be concerned about death threats for criticizing the current President, it's another to defame a colleague, and it's really something when a bigshot like Seth Ambramson is afraid of a little criticism from a nobody like me.

Recommendations by vaccine expert @peterhotezmdphd.bsky.social should be our guide - we have more measles cases than the U.S. and are no longer protected by vaccine herd immunity.
