400 strong at the Nuclear Waste Free Anishinaabe Aki rally Friday July 4th!

Incredible turnout, powerful speakers and amazing energy. We sent a clear message that this is not a done deal and #GrassyNarrows does not accept the risk!

On this Canada Day, as we conclude National Indigenous History Month, we acknowledge the hefty price paid by the Indigenous Peoples and First Nations who inhabited these lands since time immemorial. Also, that we are all migrants here, and should thus respect other migrants' right to a better life.

It is our generation’s moral test. Canada is failing it
As Canadian novelist Omar El Akkad wrote, when the dust settles, everyone will claim they were always against the atrocities in Gaza. But history remembers actions.

Hot take: Stop following DRY so religiously.

I've seen more codebases destroyed by premature abstraction than by duplication. Sometimes copy-paste is the right answer.

Duplication Is Not the Enemy

La pen, Orban, Farage, Trump, Wilders and more are just cheeks of the same bottom. Putin's lapdogs, spewing their bile to subvert democracies for their own personal gain and for their billionaire backers to smash up institutions.

All of them are crooks.

🧵 In Canada, migrants sustain our communities and most essential systems. And yet, they are being scapegoated for crises that are caused by corporate greed and government inaction. Let’s get into it.

He's trying to bully Ukraine into signing off its minerals to the US, and a sizeable swath of its territory to his autocrat buddy Putin. Peace deal my *$$.
Trump's entire "art of the deal" strategy is to bully and troll until he gets what he wants. He doesn't have the spine to handle anyone that stands up to him.

“There is no good option” isn’t an excuse not to vote at the end of February in Ontario and then in the Federal election

Not voting becomes a vote for the worst option

We can’t afford your apathy
