The way it's becoming the norm for people to censor their posts like they're on Maplestory nowadays is so fucking embarrassing
I don't even think the filter/censor stuff is true; just an over exaggerated urban legend, and even if it were, still not worth doing it to very serious subjects

Think the era of $80-$90CAD game is where I get pushed back into just pirating everything I can again, and I'm not really feeling apologetic about that

It's cool how every dinosaur goon has the same trajectory of their favourite dinosaur being t-rex -> something with more niche/hipster factor -> t-rex
just a case where the most famous dinosaur is also the most interesting one, even when you get into the field in a more serious sense

I hate that it works on me, but Retro Achievements has unfortunately been a pretty cool framing device for getting me to replay old games I haven't thought about in 20+ years
