The EU should impose sanctions on India, Pakistan and the UAE. They are all complicit in Russian aggression.

Yes. Unfortunately all Russians, everywhere, should be treated with suspicion. The same goes for everybody who are close friends or family with those Russians.

Ukraine does not need any new security guarantees. It already has security guarantees. If existing agreements are not honoured, there is absolutely NO reason to believe any new agreements will be honoured. And Ukraine shouldn't have to first capitulate to get them, either.

Being European is a great source of pride for me. Europe has a fantastic mix of cultures and a breathtaking geography. We have a history that beats anything else in the world. From Iceland in the north west to Mariupol in the south east we are all Europeans, and we shall defend our great continent.

If Europe gives back the Russian frozen assets, it'll be pretty ironic when Russia uses that money to rebuild its military and attack Europe.

1. The more funding Europe gives Ukraine, the earlier the war can end with a Ukrainian victory.
2. Faster funding means less total cost.
3. It also means far less Ukrainian losses.
4. Which also cuts the reconstruction costs.

Any "guarantee" that is not part of a war plan against Russia and a willingness to endure the hardships of war until that victory is achieved is no guarantee but empty talk.

Personally I don't believe in the European talk about guarantees. What is a mass casualty even occur because if inexperienced European commanders with the result that public opinion in the home country demand that the tropps withdraw. Will the leaders stay firm and lose an election?

European troops stationed in Ukraine must be willing and ready to fight a war with Russia, and they must be willing to follow thru until victory. If there is the smallest doubt about such a commitment there is no "guarantee", just empty talk.
