There is a tik toc I’ll never be able to find again where a new father explains his theory that the only skill you need as a new parent is the ability to stay calm and function as an adult while covered in poop or pee.
My 3yo daughter finds some unique way to remind me of this every day.

There's no group of people more "discrete and insular" right now than trans ppl. The notion that laws targeting them only need to pass rational basis review is bonkers. I wrote about it:
