Electric Company shaped my childhood moreso than any of the other PBS shows. I'm sure that's why my earliest memories of falling in love with reading comics all point back to the Spider-Man segments on this show.

That's what I have wanted for so long! Embrace the kind of over the top retro-science fiction future that the silver age stories had. Stop trying to tie them to "current" DC
...Which of course may be the exact scrappy, underdog, nothing-to-lose perspective the title needs. "Screw it, we're starting with one foot in the cancellation grave already, let's go nuts."
