ICE is complaining about being compared to Nazis because "they're just following the law". For the record, they are not following the law. It is unconstitutional to kidnap people and throw them in jail for free speech. ICE agents should be punished accordingly for this.

Just had the realization that once they deport millions of undocumented immigrants they'll open up the prisons to contract out the inmates to big ag and force the inmates at the barrel of a gun to work grueling labor for next to nothing. Y'all, they're going to bring back slavery, full stop.

Hot take, but I think it would be a mistake to rebuild LA exactly the same as it was before the fires. Endless sprawl contributes massively to climate change. The owners should be fairly compensated but the sprawl should be replaced by high density housing serviced by robust public transit.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.

People are shocked by what happened to the UnitedHealthcare CEO because they're so used to the rich getting away with murder and not being murdered. They're learning that the law of fuck around and find out is universal, unlike our healthcare system.
