Ohhhh that sock basket idea is actually genius. May need to steal that concept and expand it for our house!

-under sufferance, and it will be as little as they can possibly get away with, whilst also ensuring the threat of taking it away is permanently present.

And I tell you, the looks I get as I ride my mobility scooter around (because it's the only way I can get anywhere) speak fucking volumes.

I don't gaf if someone gets the same shit I do by lying because it's more important that *I get what I need*. Helping everyone helps everyone but we couldn't possibly do that because we must feel bad about whatever is wrong with us that's not our fault and understand that the help only comes-

Right? Getting all heated about the teeny, tiny number of people who might go to all the extra effort required to "abuse" the system instead of just working to make the system better for everyone... Just feels like a way of keeping disabled folk in their place with the threat of removal of help.

Meanwhile I have an appointment at the end of next week to discuss the ultrasound I had on my neck yesterday so we'll see how that went but, again, shouldn't be anything serious going on.

So some mostly mild inconvenience but nothing bad 👍

But being stabbed with a needle? Didnt bother her at all, don't think she even noticed, she just enjoyed the exploration and new friend 🤷

Ofc that just cost us over £200 so there's that. We'll get about £60ish back from the insurance, but that's a pretty painful amount right now 😬

She spent all day yesterday ticked between us feeling sorry for herself. Today she's mostly doing that still but not quite all of the time. She still doesn't want to play with her ball, which is unlike her, but at least she's doing better and managing food and water.
