Our poor Doofus dog has been throwing up eeeeeeverywhere. She's been doing it off and on for a couple of weeks now, but she occasionally gets a sensitive stomach (usually because she got into something she shouldn't but sometimes just randomly).

Did a whooooole bunch o' work on my #ttrpg today. Cuddles also did a bunch o' work on the art, and now I can show you this.

Void Shifted. A dark, contemporary fantasy game with everything from mages to werewolves to kitsune to demons to dragons to terrifying bards (yes, really).

Happy #Caturday!

Went to visit CuddleDad today (as we do every fortnight), and this is what happened when I got home. Pinned under a blanket, with my Monster staring creepily/adoringly up at me.

She didn't even bother to pretend she was mad at me today, I didn't get 5 minutes before she was here 😆

The sky was interesting today. Sometimes you just have to stop and take a couple of photos.

#Photography is just an occasional hobby and I'm not particularly good at it, plus I can't bring my fancy camera everywhere, but I enjoy it, and I always ensure my phone has a good camera for stuff like this

It turned to see a shivering young man with a gaunt complexion. A quick scan told it that this man was hungry, and slept with vermin, sharing their food. Homeless, then. And starving. Just like itself. “Do you need food? I have no money, I’m sorry,” Prototype 217 told him. The man didn’t seem to hear. He reached behind him and pulled a knife from the smll of his back. It flashed in the faint light, old and pitted, rusting at the hilt, but still sharp. “Gimme your wallet.”

I love The Stand, and so a bunch of stories, by a bunch of writers I either already love or am excited to get to know, is perfect 💜

Sometimes when our youngest #cat Menace (pictured) is sitting with me, I'll fart, and she'll give my butt this look of utter surprise.

And I can never be sure if she's thinking "What the hell is that noise?!" or "How do I learn to do that?!"

That was good brandy, Everett.” Everett smiled. It had done well with the gift - the first gift it had ever given. It had found an ally, perhaps even a friend, in Lena. And it had a name now. I accused Menace (pictured) of using CatGPT to make up stories, and Cuddles laughed for like 5 minutes (and had zero comebacks on Menace's behalf), so that's a nice end to the day 👍

From Act 1: Everett taking a shower, and musing a little on how it feels
The sensation of all those tiny, hot pinpricks hitting its skin was soothing. When it focused, it could pick them out individually, but somehow that was less satisfying than feeling them all at once. It understood that humans felt stress relief after a shower, and as it stood under the spray, using the items Lena had shown it after it first arrived, it wondered if that was something it might ever feel.

From about 2/3 thru Act 1, Lena and Everett are having a conversation about gender and sexuality after their first kiss. Everett doesn't really know about this stuff yet. It knows what it is, not how other people might view it/them and respond. Lena is helping it understand.

Yesterday was good. Got my foot MRI'd. Hung out with CuddleDad. He had to go GM a game, in the evening so we ate pizza and then left, but not without leaving him a message on one of his whiteboards 😁

Acrostic & doodles also by Cuddles. I mostly just took the picture tbh.
