I find it totally unacceptable that it’s been four months (to the day yesterday) since my husband died and I *STILL* have not received the official death certificate from Ontario. Talk about inefficiency and unnecessary cruelty to bereaved families.

During Delta, the estimated effectiveness of the BNT162b2 vaccine against #LongCovid among adolescents was 95.4% (95% CI: 90.9%–97.7%).

During Omicron, the estimated effectiveness against long COVID among children was 60.2% (95% CI: 40.3%–73.5%) & 75.1% (95% CI: 50.4%–87.5%) among adolescents.

Anyone know what to do with a $5K+ custom tilt wheelchair when it’s no longer needed? (In the GTA) I’ve found it so hard to find places to donate other mobility devices.

Been an intense 3 days. Weirdest part was waking up yesterday to find cop cars all over my street after a dead body was discovered circa 50 feet from our house at the ravine/park entrance.

Important 🧵on our new peer-reviewed paper:

The pandemic is as bad as it ever was for babies - in year to Aug 2023, 6,300 babies under 1 were admitted to hospital wholly or partly BECAUSE of Covid.

They are ONLY age group where admissions have NOT gone down over time 1/17
