Republicans are blaming Democrats for a shutdown when they control the House, Senate, and the White House.

If you’ve ever needed proof that Republicans can’t govern, this is it.

Wondering why grocery prices are high?

Little-to-no competition across the entire food supply chain allows for a price gouging free-for-all.

Corporate monopolies get rich, and we pay the tab.

What is Trump doing about it? Nothing.

Donald Trump is way less popular than he wants you to believe.

And you are significantly more powerful than he wants you to think.

A worker making $50,000 a year contributes to Social Security on 100% of their income.

A CEO making $20 million a year contributes to Social Security on less than 1% of their income.

Instead of raising the retirement age, we should scrap the Social Security tax cap.
BREAKING: Trump's head of Social Security says raising the retirement age "will be considered."

That's a betrayal of Trump's campaign promise to protect Social Security.

Starting November 1st, New Mexico will become the first state to offer free universal childcare to all its residents.

It's expected to save families over $12,000 per child annually.

This is a huge step forward — and a reminder that we have the power to fix the system.

Health insurance premiums are spiking.

Hospitals are closing.

Democrats are ready to fix this health care crisis RIGHT NOW.

But Donald Trump and Republicans in charge of Congress and the White House would rather shut down the government than save health care.

Walmart spent $35.3B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2024, enough to give each of its 2.2M employees annual bonuses of $2,719.

Last year, Walmart CEO Doug McMillon pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay of just $29,469.

Textbook corporate greed.

Union membership means higher wages, better benefits and a more secure retirement for America’s workers.

If we are going to save the middle class, we have got to expand union organizing in this country.

Dangerously, President Trump and HHS Sec. Kennedy are wreaking havoc on our already broken and dysfunctional healthcare system.

You don’t make America healthy again by throwing 15 million people off of their health care and undermining science.

Secretary Kennedy must resign.

SNAP was made permanent nearly 60 years ago today and it's helped millions of families put food on the table.

But Republicans would rather see billionaires put more money in the bank—so they gutted SNAP to fund tax cuts they don’t need.

They're betraying middle-class Americans.

These young doctors have formed unions because of 80 hour work weeks, inadequate pay and stressful working conditions.

They deserve better.

Hidden in Trump's Big, Beautiful Betrayal is a nasty provision that lets fossil fuel CEOs pay to have their environmental reviews fast-tracked and avoid judicial review.

In Trump's America, polluters live above the law while public health and our environment suffer.

Mark Zuckerberg has spent $110M to buy 11 houses in one Palo Alto neighborhood.

He's turning the homes into a compound.

That's on top of his 30 bedroom, 30 bathroom compound in Hawaii and another in Lake Tahoe.

I can't wait to see what the next 10 months are going to be like for Colbert. Now he has nothing to lose. It's a shame he lost his show, but this is going to be interesting. CBS, Paramount, and Dementia Don are all now fair game. Colbert ratings will go thru the roof. I ordered a case of popcorn.
