I hope he gets feeling more like his old self soon! It's taken a while, but mine has started to recover a bit of weight, even if he'll never be his old svelte (overweight) self again.

I've been so grateful for a local compounding pharmacy that works with our vet, because it's allowed us to get his thyroid meds as a cream we apply to his ear. He had lost SO much weight before we got his diagnosis. Now he just yells but lets me rub it on without too much fuss.

My mom uses it, and they seem to come out a little thicker, richer, and creamier than when I make them with regular milk. Even more so than using cream.
