Yes on 2 and 4 too IMO. 2 is like 3, fast tracking public housing and districts where CMs have blocked new affordable housing and driven pressure to other neighborhoods. 4 also reduces power of individual CMs who like to say no to everything.

To be clear, I fully agree with you. (Maybe my phrasing was unclear?)

I think it could have gone a little better if we weren't set up for failure, but I mostly mean that Biden had the option to reject the withdrawal and recommit troops, and he didn't, and he deserves so much credit for that.

I don't know why we keep ignoring Biden's Afghanistan retreat. Yes, the previous admin set him up for that and for it to go poorly, but he could have made different choices, and he didn't. To me, that outweighs everything negative of his admin. I wish other anti-war folks would see it like that.

Churches need to be involved in this work. I hope that bishops are having conversations about this. It is wonderful and indeed essential to announce the support your diocese can offer; at this point, the support than many will need is the ability to leave your diocese.
