Tonight’s vote makes stark a deeply disturbing reality: Dems, just like the GOP, are perfectly fine letting millions of Americans die because they can’t access healthcare. This is nihilism on an epic scale. F*ing ghouls.

I am one of the 24 million Americans on ACA. I also have significant health issues. This vote is effectively a repeal of the ACA, and the Dems will leave millions of people just like me without access to health care. Call your senators NOW and tell them: Vote NO.

On the issue of white dudes and why they no longer write/read fiction: This recent exchange is 100% true:
Old friend, now MAGA: does reading fiction make you gay?
Me: I read novels all the time. I have a girlfriend. We have sex all the time.
OFNM: Hmmm. I think you’re an exception to the rule.

Now's the time to pull up a few expert explainers on domestic use of the military. For an overview, including basic history, here's Bill Banks (longtime co-author of one of the leading casebooks on US national security law). www.justsecurity.org/92568/federa...

Thinking about this today for no particular reason: Before 1933 German universities were widely considered the world’s best, especially for research and STEM studies. Then they were gutted by the Nazis. Nearly 100 years later those schools still haven’t regained their prominence.
