Here in Canada December 6th is a day of remembrance. Our country had a school shooting in 1989 on this date. We honour this date every year. The contrast with what's happening in the States is really exhausting (saddening).

Once I stayed up all night drawing actual illustrations for a spot that ran nationally on short notice and I would like to tell the people who “hardly slept” because they were “writing prompts” that they are soft pathetic babies who can go to baby hell.

I have been sick for a week. I am off sick for another week (I will recover, have seen a doctor am medicated!). I am going stir crazy being stuck not being able to do much (focusing is an issue). The words "birding is pretty Fing punk rock" just left my mouth. I stand by my statement!

Everytime I get a 2025 recap from an app, I just ignore it. No, I don't really want to relive this year.
But producing a calendar from the photography I have done over the last year helped to remember all of the good moments!
