Finally got a picture of a male Mallard as he is changing to eclipse plumage. (Contrary to popular belief Mallard ducks only have green heads during mating season #duck #birb #bird

Went for a walk in the farm today. And discovered a conspiracy! A conspiracy of ravens that is!
I followed this raven who was not only making a knocking sound, but was mimicking the sound of pipes blowing in the wind, and wooden wind chimes! A young raven in the rafters of an open sided farm building A young raven in the rafters of a farm building (with its feathers ruffling in the wind). I thanked it for shaking its tail feathers at me. A nest of conspiracy! (4 young ravens in their nest. They are huge, but still trying to figure out how to fly).
