Every time someone waves lyrical about community, i sneer in derision.
So often these same people have been betrayed, abused, and abandoned by their own communities as well.
But some how they hold the concept of community in incredibly high regard, ignoring it's realities.

This is the second time i have been bed ridden for months, my vision is still a realm of decay and broken.
Half my life was stolen from me, i have no support network, no one i connect with. A body riddled by disability.

And like, make no mistake, this whole thing smacks of gender. A lot of it's about eschewing care work and feminine signifiers and anything that registers as 'weak' to a ludicrious masculine ideal.

I have been downstairs, in my chair, out of bed, all night.
