NEW VIDEO: "I can't get over a little bit of shock that this is happening, because the more you see and read about this bill...the more amazing it is to think that we're actually about to do this to ourselves. The amount of self-inflicted damage we're about to cause is really remarkable."
Republicans Admit They’re Voting for Disaster

To all my writer friends, all my creative peeps, anyone who has ever heard the call to create in any capacity, PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU, keep doing that. Keep creating, don't let the ugliness of the theft, the AI slop, the reality distortion fields keep you from being vibrantly alive.

On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

Saw the Taylor Swift movie last night. It is spectacular. What struck me most is what a great storyteller she is, both in her words and her visuals. Every song was like a little story about a particular moment in her life, both raw and intimate, and broad and universal.
