In an attempt to fulfill my New Year’s resolution of getting over my chromic undersharing, I’ve posted the pilot episode of my WIP audio drama over at @thevisits.bsky.social

okay so I recorded a pilot episode of my (?) audio drama (?) legit a year ago, but do I have a clue what I should do with this now? no

Serving Up Disaster is a perfect game, if you're looking to emulate the blood, sweat, and tears of Kitchen Nightmares around the table.

It's a creative utilization and retrofitting of familiar mechanics that are easy to pick up, play, and run!
I refreshed the Community Copies on my itch, I try to do this every so often adding copies in trade for when folks leave reviews or comments on my stuff. Its a good way to share my work while still getting the algorithm to do something.

Doing shopping every week: Do we need tinned tomatoes? Not sure. Better get some.

Putting away shopping: Oh, look, we've now got 48 tins of tomatoes.

this is one of the headlines of our time and I have the answer

you don't explain. you force. conservatives understand only one thing and its consequences.
I don't know how I should explain to you that you should care about other people.

since it is Muppet Christmas Carol time, let us revisit this wonderful interview with Michael Caine, who loves it as much as the rest of us

“People say to me, Have you ever sung? I say, Yes, I sang in a movie. They say, Who with? I say, Kermit the Frog.”
Michael Caine Loves 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' as Much as You Do
God bless us, every one! But especially Michael Caine.

“Is it okay for a social media platform to be an echo chamber” back in the day we had websites and websites were generally focused on a single topic and if you were into that topic you would visit that website and if you weren’t into that topic you just didn’t go on that website and it was fine

So I've had my Christmas shop booked for ages (because I'm normal). I went in today to edit and found that right before Christmas... Ocado has upped all the prices!
Supermarkets aren't even hiding how they rip us off over Christmas

Okay so I got Good Society as an early Christmas present and it is SO FUN so far. Admittedly, I watch the pride and prejudice mini series back to back when I am unwell so I am biased

this is actually very correct
maybe extremely controversial but here is my mass effect squadmate tier list they are all good blorbos

part of my evidence for this is that despite it being over a decade since i played the games i can still remember all of their names.

I'm in this picture and I don't like it lol.
Please tell me other DM's commonly forget the names of really important NPC's?

Like she's called Joan. HOW DO I ALWAYS FORGET HER NAME?!

Take this as my GM advice to you:

"Are you being too nice? Shouldn't you be nastier?"
Hellwhalers is cool because it's a big diversion for me as a GM

I hear @oakleafinsignia.games's voice in the back of my brain a lot when I GM and it's always asking the question "are you being too nice? shouldn't you be nastier?"

Usually I say "no!" but this is the series where "yes" won more
Our full miniseries HELLWHALERS is out now in it's entirety

Perfect for your long drive to your Thanksgiving dinner, gives you fun topics to discuss with your family like "What is the worth of a soul" and "isn't all sin the same in god's eyes" and "what if we killed god"

I cannot imagine NOT making up silly little stories, not wanting to make things look beautiful and/or interesting, not wanting to use my hands to change the shape & look of things for the joy of it, even if there was no official need for creativity.
There's always need, the joy is the need.
I just cannot imagine outsourcing creativity to a machine. Creating is one of the core things that keeps me on this planet and I would rather die than give that up
