We keep skipping past something important here. Yes, “antifa” doesn’t really exist in any meaningful sense, but:
There is no provision under US law to designate a domestic organisation as a terror group. There are only powers for foreign ones. So this is imaginary law targeting an imaginary group.

Trump says he’s designating “antifa” a terrorist group and launching a probe into finding of antifa activities. The FBI has long said antifa doesn’t really have a centralized structure or leadership.

The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to all born or naturalized in the U.S. and ensures equal protection under law to all people, including non-citizens. It also prevents individuals who have participated in a rebellion against at the government from holding office. This admin. has violated both.
