This whole thread.
🧵

I keep hearing this…

“The economy was great, and yet trump won on a campaign promise of fixing the economy. Why did people fall for this messaging??”

Well… let me tell you.

Because the economy is no longer a measure of how real, working people are doing…

Democrats' unwillingness to resist politically is increasingly likely to create a situation where the U.S. slides into a brutal authoritarian regime or civil conflict. That's what happens when people who represent more than half the country abdicate. It creates a vacuum.

@kaine.senate.gov I am incredibly disappointed in your vote on Kristi Noem. She's unqualified and dangerous. Start fighting for us, for God's sake.

It's not DEI rollback, it's resegregation.
It's not CRT rollback, it's whitewashing slavery colonialism and apartheid.
It's not anti-woke, it's pro-bigotry.
It's not sensible solutions to common sense problems, it's trans genocide.
It's not deportation, it's holocaust pre-gaming.
Call it what it is.

If you’re a federal govt employee targeted for leave or termination on the basis of your DEI work, please file an EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) complaint & retain legal counsel.

I’m a former NIH PI. Happy to refer you to a law firm that has successfully sued the govt many times!

Not that @hotelfred.bsky.social would need my help writing a Jeeves and Wooster comic if he ever got the rights, but this is what it would look like.

Ten hours in and over on the IG app… #’s democracy and democrat have been hidden and banned from searches

Had to check it out for myself and sure enough

Silence is complicity…something something
Democracy dies in darkness…something something…state run…something

I'm currently following 666 people. Eek!

Why do people I'm following show up in the Discover feed and not in Following? Am I missing something fundamental here?

In 1979, Jimmy Carter installed solar panels on the White House. In 1986, Ronald Reagan tore them down along w/Carter’s clean energy funding.

This sums up the difference between the two men & political parties. Investing in solutions for the future vs canceling progress to score political points.

I never heard of this. Explains a lot.
You know what should have the been the glaring red flag with Fetterman?

Refusing to apologize for pulling a gun on the Black man that was jogging and minding his own business.

That was when I immediately understood him for who he truly is.

As a person whose work has been stolen and who can't get work anymore because of AI (can't pay rent first time in 20 years, 1500 job submissions no responses), seeing the Democrats use AI for "silly" shitposts after not doing anything to help any of us makes me want to throw up on everybody's shoes.
Anyway, AI has already stolen friends’ work, and is going to put other people out of work.

I do not think a political party that claims to be the party of workers in this country should be using it. Even for just a silly joke.

Not the most important thing, but one thing that drives me nuts about Trump's deranged communiques is his random capitalization. He always sounds like the buffoon he is, but that tic just highlights it so perfectly that he is not right in the head.
Donald Trump says it is an “absolute necessity” for the United States to annex Greenland.

“For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity.”
