#Canada did NOT have a #CarbonTax.
We had a revenue neutral consumer carbon price that was rebated to consumers. Most Canadians got more back than we paid.
PM Carney axed the REBATE, now the gov't keeps the money.
NOW it is a tax.

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.
It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

Stop calling it deporting, so MAYBE more Americans will get it. "Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.

The irony that the Trump Administration "ordered Harvard to change its hiring, admissions and other policies, and to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs" to "protect' a diverse group ("Jewish students") from supposed "antisemitism" would be funny if it weren't so serious.

Growth in the economy is virtually non-existent.
Welfare cuts are being made.
