I referring to the carbon pricing system implemented by the feds [what @citizenslobbyca.bsky.social called "CarbonFee and Dividend"] to ensure all Canada had something in place.

The only thing wrong with our carbon pricing was that the carbon fee wasn't high enough.

This haunting photo of double amputee Mahmoud Ajjour was World Press Photo's 2025 'Photo of the Year.' The 9 year old was critically injured by an Israeli explosion while fleeing an attack with his family in #Gaza.

Same thing happens here in #Canada. We're in our own federal election between 2 parties pretending to be different.

Prime Minister Trudeau had been named Boogeyman by our Conservative Party. The Liberal Party replaced him with a PM who immediately adopted 2 main Conservative policies.

Oh, I understand they're not actually progressive voters.

They're 2 party voters, and the biggest problem with every 2 party system is that because the 2 become virtually indistinguishable, they have to find ways to differentiate themselves, to keep out third parties that actually want change.

Every election social media is overflowing with "progressive" voters insisting voters have no choice but to vote Dem, and worse, bully people who admit even to considering a third party vote.

Suppressing the vote is no help. If all non-voting eligible voters had voted Kermit, he's be president now.

I've always liked Kermit the Frog, but I would certainly vote for Jill Stein ahead of him, or another presidential candidate.

To my mind, Green Party US policy is far and away better than anything else on offer, so I don't get why ppl seem embarrassed or don't want to admit to voting green.

Lots of other (more democratic) countries have excellent post secondary education. Like Canada, for instance.

Better still, plenty of other (more democratic) countries offer free tuition. www.topuniversities.com/student-info...
