Hope everyone with any sort of retirement enjoys their "minor inconvenience" in the name of tearing down democracy and the US government in order to put in place a theocratic autocracy run by kleptocrats and religious fanatics.

He is baffled this go round because everyone and every other country has seen this move before, and were ready to pounce the moment he made his move. The markets are not amused, but he and the GOP think they can just blame Biden and get away with it. The markets aren't budging.

I swear that Trump actually made it to his econ class one day that his proxy was ill, and they talked about tariffs. He doesn't remember a thing they said, but he remembers the word "tariff". He googled it and found McKinley. He confabulated the rest of his notions about tariffs from there.

Trump didn't say a word about health care last night. What is he hiding? I spent two hours hearing from Oregonians terrified about what Republican cuts to Medicare and Medicaid will mean for them. When you come for people's health care, you have hell to pay, and this time will be no different.

The 1st president of the U.S. to ever have an unelected bureaucrat in the Oval Office after that guy bankrolled his campaign with $250M just congratulated himself for draining the swamp and announced, "The days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over."

You can't make this up.

I have to say I kind of admire the restraint ProPublica showed with its understated headline.

At the same time, I must say that the headline that I would have written—

“SENATOR BANGS MILITARY LOBBYISTS”

—would have been clearer and gotten more clicks.
Ethical Concerns Surround Sen. Joni Ernst’s Relationships With Top Military Officials Who Lobbied Her Committee

Zelensky's take-down of Brian Glenn over the suit question is underrated.

"Maybe I'll get one after the war. Better than yours. Maybe cheaper."

Low-key told the man he overpaid for a cheap suit.

Don't argue with comedians. They'll destroy you.
