Took a walk this weekend and saw a lot of people pissed off at the Trump administration. I think a lot more are joining the club today as his tariffs tank the stock market and wreck the economy!

Un-freaking-believable!
You should stop what you're doing and read this whole story. It's obviously a shocking example of the incompetence of the unserious charlatans in the White House today - but it's also, in another way, extremely funny.

The Trump-Musk team is closing 4 Social Security field offices across North Carolina: in Elizabeth City, Roanoke Rapids, Greenville and Franklin.

For folks in eastern and far-western North Carolina - sorry. The richest man in the world decided you cost too much.

John Sayles takes us inside Carlisle, the most famous of 19th century residential Indian schools, where piously confident white teachers ruled isolated Indian children with regimented brutality wrapped in good intentions. Accurate, beautiful, tragic, magnificent history. Best I've read in years.
