The UK's political and media class has spent years heaping sadism on trans people, and they want to do the same in Ireland next. Calls for civility and calm won't cut it. We need to fight them tooth and nail.

Cis women in Ireland need to talk to other cis women in our lives and pour water on the kind of thinly veiled, soft-sounding bigotry that's creeping into people's social media and minds before we fully go the way of the UK. TERFs are claiming to speak FOR us - we need to speak for ourselves. Loudly.

I’ve had a number of US friends & collectors reach out to me, as they are so scared by the Trump/Heritage Council fascist regime.

‘What can we do?’ they ask me. I think it’s because I often right about human rights, protest & the Holocaust.

So here are my suggestions.

There is an official 'citizen's petition' system in the EU. There's one open at the moment to ban conversion therapy for LGBT+ people in the EU.
