I really think that a more likely result of the proliferation of Gen AI, if it sticks around, rather than a flourishing of works that enhance the human experience, great voices uplifted finally through the "democratization" of the arts is that instead people log off and get back into analogue media

had a dream I won the lottery with my mom. it was weird how despite having a positive connotation overall in the dream I feel this sense that the dream was a bad omen. maybe I'm just exhausted.

I suppose you could say that insisting on the rights of all trans people is issuing a political purity test. But why would you do so, while also ignoring the fact that those who refuse to enter the tent unless you push trans people out of the tent are also issuing a political purity test?
So many people on the far left are not willing to do even basic coalitional politics (like not backstabbing someone fighting your enemy) to fight fascism.
