We do not have a free country in this moment. When they can nab someone off the street because they don't like what they say, they can nab anyone.

The Trump regime will round you up off the street and arrest you because you spoke your mind.

And federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars who refuse to identify themselves will be the ones to do it.

It's fascism.

Call it what it is.

I feel like a broken record with this reporting, but here is another way science is being fucked over:

The DOE is "significantly" reducing those on staff at national labs who can make purchases, which slows down work and makes it harder to access the money they have already been allocated!
"The opposite of efficiency": DOGE's credit card crackdown is making research slower, harder, and worse
Trump's latest attack won't save a dime—it'll just throw up more hurdles to science.

Arizona’s independent execution review found that lethal injection drugs were stored in unmarked jars, a shipment was delivered to a private home, and prison officials looked up dosages on Wikipedia. Nevertheless, the state resumed executions this week.

Trump is distracting people from seeing he is NOT helping them.
Trump’s shutdown of the JFK Library won’t lower egg prices or make housing more affordable, but it’s part of a retribution tour designed to distract from his agenda to enrich the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of everyone else.
