Oh dear, our dear NHS is being stretched to the limit and beyond, I feel so sorry for them.
01:40 I was taken ill at home, wife called 111 who arranged an ambulance.
02:35 I was camped in the ambulance outside A&E.
Today is the day that I ditch Microsoft Windows and convert to a Linux Distro, have done a bit of research I’ve gone for Ubuntu, it looks like it’ll be the easiest to start out on.

The Government’s “largest review of the water sector since privatisation” ruled out public ownership - a solution 82% of us support - before even starting.

This review is a sham- but we still have a chance to be heard.

Typical the Telegraph is again leading the country astray, there is no disgrace for the NT removing unauthorised bunting from our National Monuments.

They are pushing and selling the narrative of the rich.
#TaxWealthNotWork
Telegraph headline this morning: ‘National Trust branded a ‘disgrace’ for tearing down flag.’

What is disgraceful about protecting the nation’s monuments from harm? They belong to past, current and future generations. They are protected from alteration and damage by law.

So many questions left unanswered in the Shapps interview

1) No satisfactory answer on ISC involvement. It wasn't the courts who decided, it was ministers. Hundreds of officials were across Whitehall were aware of the leak. This would have been Parliament's only means of scrutiny.

A lot of people are scrambling to find reasons *not* to be concerned about what happened with this super-injunction business.

But the "what about security" hand-wave doesn't work on this one.

A lot was hidden from MPs which need not be hidden.

Security was an excuse, not a reason.
3) We keep hearing this false binary (including from Mr Shapps) of safety vs secrecy. What about those whose safety was put at risk *because* of the injunction? See thread from yday.

The world is looking on in horror as Netanyahu's Government plots to lock Gaza's entire population into effectively a giant prison.

The Prime Minister should make it clear that the UK won't stand idly by, starting by sanctioning Netanyahu himself.

If Ed Davey keeps this up for the next 3.5 years, he’s going to get my vote. I admire his stand on Trump and his support for a closer tie to the EU. His views and commitment to social care is exemplary because he understands that you will never get on top of the NHS without sorting the care system.

This would send an important signal that Britain stands shoulder to shoulder with Canada against Trump’s chaotic trade war.
